Midwest Avian Adoption and Rescue Services is an exotic parrot sanctuary sheltering approx. 90 birds who, due to mistreatment or reaction to captivity, are not suited to an in home or typical rescue environment. Founded in 1999, we are the oldest in the Midwest, and a 501(3)c non profit operated entirely by volunteers and funded solely through donations. If you can volunteer just 4 hours per week to help feed, clean and care for these extremely intelligent creatures, we are interested in hearing from you. Peaches (above) says "hello"!
