Why all of the hate against the places call "smoke pits." I keep seeing names like Cagney's, Shenanigan's, Pink Pony, Big Dawg's, Connolly's, RIPS etc. getting bashed and that's unfair. They have their place for bands trying to get their act together. They don't have to be traps if you know when to step away.
