There is access to Rock Creek Park's many hiking, walking, and running trails as well. Stachowski's and Scheele's Market (small corner store with all the essentials) are within two blocks of the house. Trader Joe's grocery store is within walking distance at 26th and M Street.

The house is located one block from the G2 bus (Logan, Dupont, Georgetown) and a short walking distance to the Circulator, 38B, 30N, 30S, 31, 33 bus lines. Dupont Circle (red) and Foggy Bottom (orange/blue) metro stations are a quick 15-minute walk. It is less than a 30 minute walk to the IMF, World Bank, White House, and many other government buildings downtown. Close to the embassies on Embassy Row and perfect for visiting diplomats. Georgetown University and George Washington University (GWU) are a quick 15 minute walk away. There are bus lines that take you to American University as well.

About the housemates: 30-year-old, female, GWU alumni and major gifts officer for a large organization. She travels frequently but likes to have friends over for wine, dinner, and an occasional cocktail party. 25-year-old, male, Syracuse alumni and investment banker, who also travels frequently. 22-year-old recent Lafayette grad and college soccer player now working for a large political publication based in DC.

About the ideal roommate: clean/neat, responsible, and mature individual who doesn't mind the occasional dinner party or overnight guest. May have their own dinner party or occasional overnight guest too, but no long-term/live-in partners. Perfect for a graduate student or young professional.
