CCI Greenheart is recruiting volunteer host families in the Twin Cities area! We have a group of high school students from France visiting from July 10-30th and we still desperately need families to host them. Families do NOT need to speak French and only need to provide a bed, not a complete bedroom, for the student. Families do need to have a teenager (13-18) living at home.
Though this is an unpaid opportunity, it is an excellent chance to connect with a student from another culture, help them learn English, and share our culture as well. We will be hosting an orientation meeting before the students arrive as well as a welcome party and a goodbye party for all host families and students. Additionally, there will be four day trips planned for the French students, though the host families are welcome to join on those trips as well (Mall of America, amusement park, Twins Game, and restoring the Mississippi Watershed).
